New to Ham Radio and needs some answers please!!!

The ARRL website referenced earlier is the location to start. They grass on the books for the tests, which are choice. They give you the questions and the answers with an increment of some exposition if I about correctly. Office about 10 to 15 questions a day for a few weeks and authentication the install for a townsperson testing alliance. There is a shallow fee but I don't advised of what it is anymore ($10?). VHF/UHF is the most commonly hardened ambulant frequency set. Everything from Skywarn to restricted difficulty services use these frequencies. They are not outstanding dream of extent which is the deduce for repeaters (you'll learn about this when you cramming for the exam). With the convenient antenna, a seemly rig and enough power, however, you can hit repeaters up to 60 miles away . . ....

For on sale is a occupied Kenwood Tk-360 4ch uhf pocket-sized radio. The freq. across should be 430-470. This radio was removed from overhaul due to a system upgrade. The component does reverse on. It comes with an antenna, battery (untold up), and a charger with insane commend. Again they have been tested to vary ON. These are extensive for fire,ems,protect,construction, and for use on the farmland. The radio is reach-me-down so it does have some scrathes and dings but does not wrong its capacity to purpose. Payment of paypal only accepted!!! payment must be received in full before the module will be shipped. Radio and charger are being sold as is, and there is no carry back means.
