Within the next few weeks, Chillicothe City Utilities will be providing customers with a trio of personalized online services on their current webpage.

“We’re infuriating to get some other online stuff done first,” said CMU General Manager Jim Gillilan, “so we haven’t fully released it yet.”

The online services to be provided by the institution include online bill-paying, personalized energy audits (where customers publicize numbers into a calculation system to get estimated energy readings), and a graphed hourly meter reading for be inconsistent and electricity usage.

“We’re getting ready to sign an online bargain for bill-paying,” Gillilan said. “We’re hoping that we’ll be masterly to do a press release in the newspaper and the radio [when the product is ready for consumers].”

The meter reading system is already on tap for CMU customers at www.cmuchillicothe.com, and shows electricity and water usage updates on a hourly constituent. It also shows weather patterns every three hours (which can be graphed and compared to elevated and low usage periods), as well as meter alerts and updates.
