It's a unreasoning of a radio.  It weighs a ton and is made well----very reasonable.  I don't be sure the year it was manufactured, but I can't believe any comparably priced radio made since the mid-1980's comes conclude to this in terms of prominence----that is, materials and construction.  It's an anchor.
