Azden makes a lot of microphones well suited for the video hobbyist because they’re mostly less extravagant than the event and when it comes down to it, they get the job done. Basically Gabe the power purveying or preamp is needed to power the unidirectional microphone, the power that comes from the mixing desk is enough to fluff a mic that Lilliputian, (that is as far as i have gone to gather it, so am felicitous for someone to offset me on that!) the microvox preamp is a box 100mm x 200mm x 50 mm, and can in the clear onto your belt.
