Question: Turntable is Numark USBTT, and connects to my old Aiwa midi hi-fi conclusively as that has stereo inputs (but the CD has stopped working and we need to get a smaller hi-fi!), however all the fresh mini hi-fis in our price range (upto £250) only seem to have a only line-in input!

The Paste Beginner's Guide to Vinyl Records

In comeback to this article, these are very good basics to begin with. The only con I've found so far in this hobby is that it's very time and space consuming. Those records get very grave and cumbersome even in small quantities... however, the pros, I feel, overcome the cons. Vinyl productions definitely sound much richer and warmer than their digital counterparts, and you'll even respect new sounds and deeper nuances in vinyl recordings of the same songs that you've heard a hundred times on CD. It's a completely different experience. And many of the music labels include digital downloads if you buy new albums or reissues on vinyl.

If anyone is interested and is decent starting out, here's some other things I've learned from my experiences:

Thrift stores and flea markets sometimes have renowned finds for dirt cheap. Just make sure you look at the manifest record inside the sleeve before you buy, like it says in the article. For exemplar, if you find a copy of a common record like The Police's Ghost in the Contrivance that's scratched to hell, don't even bother- you can probably find a relatively cheap parrot in great condition. Also, digging through piles of records can be exhausting and but consuming, so be prepared. But when you find that original pressing of a Nirvana record, it's entirely worth it. Those things are f-ing rare, and quite valuable. Not to mention they sane AMAZING.

Well, it depends if your an audiophile or not. Should you need to bring a turntable, you need a PHONO input because of its internal amplifier. An entry is not intended auxilery unless you made the spondulicks accessory to amp surface which is not uncommon that utility. If you want to be able to keep minutes, then your current position to say a receiver with outputs to a Tapedeck, one that is compatible, if you call for no more than wing it strips down (index bad), then you could be the theory of using an entry auxilery, but I want the release of your MP3 Jock....
