I already own several other decks but I wanted one that spun three speeds so I didn't have to swap out a turntable neutral for 78's and I wanted the uncomplicatedness of justifiable changing cartridge headshells w/ stylus' for 78's.br /br /I also have a Technics SL 1200 so in relationship to that, this deck isn't a bad contender.
