Peter Sarro, holder of JJ's Sports Bar and Grill , hasn't been able to show any games on channel 7 on Directv in his bar for two weeks now. It hasn't been much of an emergence, but the fact that channel 7 is broadcasting the Superbowl next Sunday will certainly prepare it one.
In fact, up to 200,000 Patriots fans may miss the broadcast of the Superbowl because of a contractual strife between Directv and Sunbeam Station Group.
U.S. Rep. Jim McGovern has sent a joint epistle to Directv in the hopes of resolving the dispute before the Feb. 5 kickoff.

"It affects most sports bars," said Sarro. "And the Superbowl is the slews one watched show of the year. Everyone is just hoping. From a common sense vantage point, it doesn't make sense to have everyone bailing on them. Everyone is biting their lip and hoping it well-founded works out.
