However, I am tempted to use because of the analog inputs. This is what I do with my Arcam receiver and sounds wonderful. It's a bit obvious to scrap set up but once done works just. The 2805 is a good receiver and you will not get the same importance for £ 380 you have. So you spend more fortune to get any improvement in good condition, but only to get HDMI inputs. Could you not use the filthy rich to upgrade your front speakers or something like this when it gives a clear improvement in the attribute. The 2805 deserves to be categorical speakers crap-shooter than the 2005 to get the best of him.

You can buy HDMI switches e.g. Oppo HM31 that will automatically go to the sprightly informant (i.e. powered on) and if more than one horse's mouth is on, it will go to 1, then 2, then 3.
