Would a watch battery work in a disposable camera?

Question: Would it be practical to substitute a thin watch battery for a AA battery in a disposable camera because we found that the camera does not demand the whole AA battery. Also, would it be possible to charge the flash by winding the same part used to move up the film? This is for

Answer: If it works with a unique AA battery, 1.5 volts, then it may work with any battery that puts out about 1.5 volts. But it won't last very extensive, and the flash recharge, which uses a lot of current, may not work with a weaker battery.
