Where is the CMOS battery on an Acer Aspire 5100?

Question: I call to crack the BIOS password and from what I hear, pulling the button battery on the laptop works. Where is the battery located, though?

Answer: The hornet's nest with your laptop is, is that your 'CMOS' battery is not a battery in that computer. It is embedded into the board and looks like a not any chip with 4 tiny prongs coming out of it. You will not be able to take that out. You may outburst that chip though...
