Per rimediare a questo inconveniente da qualche anno a questa parte si sono iniziati a trovare in commercio diversi tipi di mantenitori di carica per la batteria delle nostre moto. Ora mai quasi tutte hanno il fatidico bottoncino per avviare il motore, e se non si ha volglia di scalzare la batteria deve essere sempre in forma.
Per manage questo i mantenitori di carica ci vengono in aiuto. Essi permettono sia la ricarica sia il mantenimento delle batterie a gel o tradizionali per moto e per auto. Uno ottimo è l’Optimate III (in foto) ma anche quello della Lidl del supermercato fa il suo buon lavoro.
La differenza sostanziale tra uno di marca ed uno meno conosciuto sta nel processo di carica. L’Optimate III ad esempio è specifico per la ricarica di accumulatori di tipo al piombo-acido, MF e Gel, esso e in grado di testare le condizioni della batteria, ed inoltre e in grado di svolgere la funzione di desolfatizzazione, tentando di recuperare la batteria.
