Police radio/scanner laws?

Question: I have an solid police radio that was in a police vehicle. My question is, can these legally be habituated to in a civilians vehicle? Not to be used, of course.

Answer: You can concentrate for a permit... if you are part of any support operations or weather or fire or paramedic body. Otherwise, it is illegal to have one installed in your vehicle.
