The Coeur d'Alene Resort launches major upgrades
COEUR d'ALENE - With 25 years under its district as a destination travel icon, The Coeur d'Alene Resort is preparing for the next direction-century - and beyond.
Hagadone Hospitality Co., which owns and operates The Resort, has launched part two of a three-put a stop to construction and renovation program.
Construction crews are busy putting new roofs on The Repair to, as well as restoring its iconic copper peaks.
The 4,400-square-foot deck on the next floor, formerly occupied by a swimming pool, will be transformed to an outdoor dining space for receptions, banquets and weddings, complete with a paver surface, glassware railing and two fireplaces. Half of the dining deck will be covered for all-weather use.
"This is a outstanding facility we didn't have before," said Jerry Jaeger, president and co-holder of Hagadone Hospitality. "The view from there is truly breathtaking."
Crews will induct a new elevator to serve the upper deck and north annex, and will return decorative roof pallets and accent wood beams.
