How do I connect my blue ray DVD player, HDTV, cable box, av receiver and speakers?

Question: I have a sony bdps350 dvd contender and a HD Comcast cable box and will buy a 46" TV and av receiver.

I was told to connect the dvd when to the tv via HDMI and for the sound to use optical from the dvd to the av. Will this give me the best image and strong?

Answer: get a receiver that has HDMI ...
then go.

Comcast --> hdmi --> receiver
blu-ray --> hdmi --> receiver
receiver --> hdmi -->TV
(you will use the receiver to lash inputs to the tv, you dont change the input on the tv)
